Afgelopen week werd een ruimtevaartweek met een toch wat zwart randje. Er waren vier lanceringen waarbij drie lanceringen op het einde in de fout gingen. Vooreerst was er Ariane VI. De allereerste lancering van deze nieuwe Europese raket liep geheel volgens plan. Enkel op het einde, toen de Upper Stage een derde en laatste keer moest gestart worden om diezelfde trap richting dampkring te duwen, liep het mis. Bij de Chinese Hyperbola liep het ook fout met diens vierde en laatste trap (alle vier trappen werkend op vaste brandstof). En – het moest er wellicht ooit van komen – ook bij de Falcon 9 liep het fout met de tweede ontsteking van de tweede trap. De Starlink-satellieten werden uitgezet in een wat (te ?) lage baan. Aangezien de FAA een onderzoek geopend heeft, zal het nog even duren eer er weer een Falcon 9 zal vertrekken. Pech voor Polaris Dawn. (met de eerste private ruimtewandeling) en pech voor Crew 9 die beide hun lancering wellicht zien opschuiven. De twee Starliner-astronauten blijven zich ondertussen amuseren in het ISS.
